Based on the movie series “Smile” the creature stands at an astounding 10 feet tall, is UV/ Weather Proof, has a servo for the head, lights in the eyes and body and eerie music to back it all up! This started off as a prop called “Giant Death Ray” from Spirit Halloween, a grey alien. I took the head and molded eye holes and his upper lip, while I used loctite foam for the lower jaw. I then used red paint and permablood to turn the face bloody and red. I then proceeded to glue every single resin tooth into his face, over 4 sets of teeth! I then spray painted the body red, and did the same technique I did with the head on the hands and feet. Finally, I gave the entire animatronic 3 coats of Rustolem’s UV protective high gloss top coat.
